Note that I didn't actually say I'd be giving him any, just that I was making them and that was my excuse for him not to leave.

Rust also tends to poison and/or magically alter his baked goods, so I'd be careful.

I am so goddamn tired, you guys. Like whoa. Worst day of work I've ever had, and I've had monsters before this one. This was like when you're playing a video game, and you spend like three hours fighting this bigass monster that's been kicking your ass for days, and you finally kill it and proceed to the next area where you have even bigger monsters casually eating multiple monsters. That was this day in comparison to other bad days.

I haven't moved at all since I got home except for right now. I have a test I have to take online for college and just skipping it in favor of hibernating for the next week or so is looking very appealing.

But I can't. ;_;

Oh Ish >: that sounds awful. I'm sorry today wants you to suffer. *hugs* I'm really tired too. I guess, truck through the test as best you can and reward yourself with loving sleep. Everything will be okay.

I had one of those days a few weeks ago. You just want to do NOTHING ever again.

But hey, do what I do. When life gives you lemons, make orange juice and scream "WHAT NOW, BITCH?!"

So...so...I am trying REALLY HARD not to get my hopes too high up, but...today, I got a letter from a publishing company that saw a glimpse of Succession - a novel that I wrote and finished back in January - in the Library of Congress archive and wants to review the manuscript for it and discuss possible avenues for a publishing contract.

Like I said, I am trying REALLY HARD, AND OH GOD IT'S NOT WORKING.

Man, this place went quiet, fast.

What have you all been up to?

This weekend was full of activities. Bowling on Saturday (which I absolutely suck at, yaaaay) and Pathfinder (Tabletop RPG based on D&D 3.5) on Sunday. Both my girlfriend and I leveled up so we were pretty excited about that. I play a Human Stormborn bloodline Sorcerer while she plays a Half-Elf Cleric for a Lawful-Neutral Monk God. We're only level 2 but the storyline's pretty promising. It's pretty enjoyable.

Oh man, I had a campaign where I was a human paladin... named Nissadex... >_> I am original. But more importantly, we got to level 10 I think before it finally sputtered off. I think what pissed me off the most was that I couldn't be a paladin and also play the kind of character I would have most wanted to be.... I got spoiled playing some MMOs where any race could be any job could be any nationality etc.... so having those limits bothers me.

As for my weekend... On Friday I spent the night at Cam's and had awesome sex, Saturday I went to a pet shelter volunteer orientation so I can help with the dogs, Sunday I rode Maximillion up and down hills and we races across open fields... it was fun. Monday I missed school but went to Karate and my therapist appointment, and today I hung out with Cam some more and rode Max again.

That is all. D:

If I can think of any funny story from that time, it would be that my 1500lb horse was scared shitless by a 6 month old baby. He's kind of pathetic.

There's limits in D&D? D= I mean, obviously, you can't be anything other than Lawful Good, but even a fallen Paladin makes a decent Fighter. :<

Our campaign doesn't look like it will die anytime soon. Our DM is pretty good about these things and I'm practically obsessed.

So is your horse okay now? That is hilarious, btw xD

Well, I own two horses. Well, I guess not anymore, but I did.

Moheikan (Sic) was my first horse, he got his leg caught in his stall door in July, and the injury permanently crippled him. He can never be ridden again and he's the one that might die. He's a 14 year old gelded paint, 15.3 hands. (A hand is 4 inches and it's measured to their shoulder)

Maximillion (sic) Robespierre is my second horse, who I've been riding for 3 months and have owned for two. He's a huge (17.3 hands) thoroughbred gelding of 8 years of age. He's really, really frigging awesome. He came from a place that wasn't feeding him or training him correctly, so he's really underweight and out of shape. I bought him for $3500 but by this summer once he's fattened up and gotten fit, he'll be worth $13,000+.... not that I'd sell him. He's honestly the best horse I've ever ridden... and he's my best friend xD

That being said... still really worried about Mo.

EDIT: If a horse is 17.3 hands, he's 17 hands and three inches.

I hope Moheikan can make it Sad Still hoping with you, that I am.

Max sounds awesome, though. I live in what used to be the Horse Capital of the World, though I still don't know shite about horses other than how to ride them.

I'll post up some pictures of the two when I can. They're just spectacular. <3

I'd show you all how to ride and take you on a good time but I don't have the horses or the land xD Plus, if I stuck any of you on Max he'd likely kill you.... so.

Haha xD He's trusting, just easily scared (A baby made him jump five feet sideways for fucks sake) but that isn't what would kill you. No, what would kill you is his proclivity to running and jumping over things. He just fucking loves to run and jump.

Sounds like fun, actually :<

Then again, it's been far too long since I've ridden a horse. Probably not a good idea to restart on a horse like that xD
