Pet Peeves: Far too many to list. However, related to writing, I a tad irritated when I see un-original ideas or dialouge. Mostly, dialouge.

Strengths: Dialogue, plot development (3/4 of Adore's plot was thought up by me on some level. XD Sorry Amano).

Favorite Genre: Medieval-type fantasy.
Favorite Character Type: Antiheroes. Especially those that turn out to be real heroes in the end.

Major Influences: Any great story, be it TV, movies, books, etc. Occasionally music. You'll find that deep down, most of my "original" stuff isn't very original at all - but I make it my own.
Current Writing Projects: Sanitarium, Shifting Sands (Working Title), Adore (the screenplay).
Past Writing Projects: The Adore saga.
Fond Memories: In the original Adore, when me, Kenzie, and Niss (who only kinda knew each other then) were thrown together and proceeded to take over the thread with one of the greatest stories we've ever written. (Edit by Niss: I LOVE YOU SMITHY!!!!! <3 And psst, guys, yeah, it was the BEST ROLEPLAY EVER.)
Other: Don't take it personally if I ever become lethargic in posting. I have a terrible tendency to start projects and never finish. =/

Pet Peeves: Don't get me started. In writing and roleplaying, it's mainly an obvious lack of effort, things that are horrific in their unoriginality, and crappy dialogue.

Past Writing Projects: Moraine. XD It was basically a writing project. Along with various short stories and group project with my Facebook wife.
Fond Memories: Just...all the time I've spent with all of you. Some people think that you can't be friends with people you know solely on the internet, but I TOTALLY disagree. One fond rather recent memory would be the night Mike and I decided to create our "children" - Amano Alleluia and Broken Murokumone - and then rape the forum. It was beyond description.
Other: Sometimes I disappear from places (online places) but it itsn't because I don't like you all anymore. It's usually because something important is happening in REAL life - such as a play or a musical or a very involved project - and I just have to step away so I can focus. I promise I'll be back. I always come back.

Real Name: David Seery, but only those who dislike me call me Dave. I presume you all like me enough to call me Seery if ever my real name must be used.

Years of Writing Experience: Pfft. I only began to truly write around a year ago, possibly even later than that.
Strengths: Action scenes (I can fight-write like nobody's business), and I've been known to immerse myself in a character reasonably well.
Weaknesses: Non-action scenes. I swear, I can't survive in RPs that aren't chock full of things to kill and ways to kill them. Subtleties of plot and the like are NOT my forte.
Favorite Genre: Fantasy, no question.
Favorite Character Type: I just can't seem to stray from the warrior seeking redemption. It just...works, you know?
Favorite Books/Authors: David Gemmel in general, Brent Weeks' Night Angel trilogy, The Mongol Series....
Favorite RP: Hmm. Once Upon a Time. Amano, REVIVE THAT.
Pet Peeves: Generic crap. I hate starting an RP only to find that it's mired in the same character incarnated several times.
Major Influences: Certain individuals, a good few of them here, inspire me. Also, Opeth are really fuelling my writing lately.
Current Writing Projects: Ashes is my baby. Also, Tetrath and all his misadventures.
Past Writing Projects: Pfft. None to speak of. They are not worth mention.
Fond Memories: Ineed to get some of these, actually.
Other: As you may note, I have no faith in m own writing ability. I baulk at the prospect of ruining RPs with my mere presence. It will sometimes take much more than gentle cajoling if you truly want me to participate in your story.

Years of Writing Experience: 10
Strengths: Complex sentences, detailed world building, believable character psychology.
Weaknesses: Sometimes my thoughts get too complex, and I lose track of what I was doing which leads to some nasty plot holes. I am also at risk of getting bogged down in description if I'm not careful.
Favorite Genre: Science fiction, but even then I'm extremely picky. Dystopian writing is usually pretty interesting, too. Fun fact, did you know that there are only three genres? Poetry, prose, and plays. The things we call genres are actually "forms."
Favorite Character Type: The samurai. I like characters with codes of honor, and find it interesting when they have to re-think their own philosophies at some point in the story. I'm also a fan of the methodical villain.
Favorite Books/Authors: I'm into the classics. Dumas and the Three Musketeers series as well as The Count of Monte Cristo and anything by H.G. Wells. I'm a huge fan of Lovecraft as well and, after finishing The Hunger Games trilogy, I have to give Collins a nod. My all time favorite book is 1984, but a newer book called Feed, the author's name I have forgotten, is also excellent. Also, I know they aren't books but I'm totally in love with Avatar: The Last Airbender and this year's second series The Legend of Korra.
Pet Peeves: Bigotry, especially in regards to people's language. If you tell me that a regional dialect sounds ignorant, we might have a brawl on our hands.
Major Influences: Eastern philosophy, and that intangible sense of wonder I get when looking at the stars.
Current Writing Projects: "A Year in Haiku" and that's about it, for the moment.
Past Writing Projects: In no particular order. . .
Forbidden Dhyme- First an RP, then almost a novel, then an RP again, Dhyme is one of my longest-lived ideas. I still take notes on it occasionally and would love to resurrect it as at least an RP, perhaps here some day.
Godwalker- An interesting little story about the end of the world. Abandoned in the concept phase.
Zelda D20- A D&D campaign in which a friend of mine worked with me to more or less re-write the Zelda universe cosmology and invent an epic, three-part tale about breaking the cycle of death and rebirth the universe has existed in since the beginning of time. Also, there were evil mosquito men.
The Masked Man- My own take at a dystopian story involving a self-made cyborg and an immortal dictator. It was originally meant to be a screenplay but it made a brief stint as an RP on Neoseeker before being returned to the back burner for a while.
Fond Memories: I don't know if it counts as a memory since its still ongoing, but Scott Cee and I have been exchanging Neo PMs about, in his words, "nothing in particular" on a daily basis for about four years now. And I mustn't forget the Fire Emblem RPs I played in with 'lil Becca way back when. Those were what really got me started in this whole forum business.
Other: I think I talk about myself much too often. I am also moody. Sorry.
