Tabletop gaming over Skype
Hello people of Earth NeoPasse!
Smithy and I thought it would be pretty cool if we could do this over Skype. It sounded as though there were at least three of us who had played tabletop games, so here I am asking you if anyone would be interested in doing this? And, if so, which format?
I'd prefer to do it with Pathfinder, myself, since that's the only thing I'm used to and there's no need for books because it's all online in a Player Reference Document. Pathfinder is basically D&D 3.5 (people often call it 3.75) but with certain nerfs and buffs that fix problems that were had in D&D 3.5. I myself am used to just the Core and Advanced Player Guides, though there's also Ultimate Magic and Ultimate Combat, both on the PRD, which you can find here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/
So... Yeah. If you're interested in doing this with us, what would your preferred format be?

Skype is amazing, Smithy. You should have it already.
I might be interested in doing this, but I'm sure that I should be counted among total party members because chances are it won't work with my stupid schedule. If it gets off the ground and it does work, though, I'd love to.

Well, what's your schedule like? We can try to work around it.

That, pretty much. Though, I know that I won't be able to do any junk except Saturday all summer, so if Saturdays are out then that pretty much pushes me out of the game xD

Also, we don't necessarily have to hold it on the same day all the time, like most tabletops. If it's over the Internet, it can be flexible.

Re: Tabletop gaming over Skype
Oh dear lord. Let's see...
Every weekday I have classes until 2:15. On Tuesdays/Thursdays, I have about an hour and then I go out to the stables, which lasts until I get home at around 8. I have to ea and do school work those days, and I also like to see Cam, so those days probably won't work.
Mondays/Wednesdays I have Karate from 7-9pm, and on Mondays I often go to the therapist's from the end of school till 5ish.
Fridays I will either be out with friends, or if we don't have plans, I will be at the stables.
Saturdays I occasionally have free, but I normally use those days to schedule extra things, like make this or for example, next week I'm going caving/spelunking with a group of my friends in this really awesome deep cave and we're gonna crawl through the mud and rocks and the GENITAL RIPPER and it'll be great oh yes. *cough*.... But sometimes I'll go to the stables Saturdays too, but Saturdays are probably the most free.
Sundays I go to the stables and run weekend errands. I'm not super busy, but soon I will probably be volunteering most Sundays too, so...
Come summer I'll probably be almost as busy, because of my new volunteering gig. I should be doing pretty much as much volunteering as I would be doing school. And more stable time.
Basically... I'm busy every single day, but I might be able to plan once every two weeks or a month to have a free day. Otherwise, it would be hit or miss.

We could do something like once or twice a month.
Saturdays are tough for me, though, I have work 4-11.

Early days (say, 9-10) on Saturdays once or twice a month? I'll be good for all except maybe one weekend a month (about) due to my irl game.
You could tell us of days you don't have plans for yet, Nissa.

If we do a couple hours in the morning/early afternoon once a month, that could work fairly well.

I'm totally down. I'd prefer as early in the morning as possible.

We've got 4 people down for it; I say we do this thang. I think once a month is sounding like the best idea, just so we can make sure we're all available.
...I suppose I could DM, though we'd have to pick a system and I'd have to familiarize myself with it.

Pathfinder's really easy to learn :shifty:
And, as said, it's got all of the rulebooks online for easy reference
